I am Michael K. Vance, and professionally I was a programmer in the video game industry. Now I am just another executive who isn't allowed to touch the code.
My Wiki interests are ballet, role-playing games, guitars, obscure musicians, anti-terrorism special forces, Papal history, Middle-Eastern dynasties, comedy, and other odds and ends. My Wiki anger is aimed at those who do not properly use the 'minor edit' flag.
Some of my favorite Wiki prose, from the article Paris-Roubaix:
- The manufacturers claim that this elastomer took nearly all of the shock out of riding the cobblestones. Hincapie's Trek bicycle fared less well in the 2006 edition of the race as his aluminum steerer tube snapped with about 46 km to go in the race, causing him to crash and leaving him in pain and weeping on the side of the road.
