Hello! I'm Mangocove, and I study the public health sector in Boston, MA.
My aim here is primarily to improve information related to local and regional healthcare, especially where it relates to hospitals and emergency medical services. I believe access to unadulterated information is vital in making medical decisions and in informing advocacy for building a better healthcare system. I do my best to thoroughly research and add to the articles I overhaul, however absent reliable information to add I will improve formatting, wording, infoboxes, and references (including recovering and archiving).
Articles that appear to have been written by the companies they document stir my curiosity and only make me want to look into them more! These articles are the ones I'm most attracted to when it comes to editing and overhauling, in order to bring them closer to neutral.
Big project in the works
My biggest undertaking to date is my attempt to overhaul List of hospitals in Massachusetts. See my sandbox for progress! Trying to convert this into an up-to-date, sortable table. In the process of this, I'm generally overhauling the articles of every hospital that has one.

- Rewrote, will likely do some more work to expand. Had very little info outside of a significant event in 2020 reported in the news, and references were poor.
- St. Elizabeth's Medical Center (Boston)
- Completely rewrote.
- Steward Health Care System
- Made major changes and additions, aiming to remove bias posed by topic-affiliated accounts removing negative information.
- Quincy Medical Center
- Completely rewrote. This was a stub article with little information and dead citations.

- Integrated care/Collaborative Care: Proposed merge on March 18, 2024. Set tentative deadline of April 1, 2024 for feedback and voting.
