Thanks humans, for Wikipedia.

I'm Luke, I do various things, the thing I'm most passionate about of all is helping to create create inviting spaces (both in the online & offline world) which really bring together very diverse people in our communities (cities, schools, organisations, countries, and so on) to share their perspectives, insights and understandings of challenges and opportunities. Ulimately, the purpose being to (with the right kind of facilitation - just like on Wikipedia) tease out the incredible collective intelligence of our communities to form detailed, actionable proposals for improving the place we live in, work in or play in, together. We build upon each others ideas, helping them to be really well informed, then we vote on them. Together, we design the best strategy to get these proposals to happen (either through effective lobbying of an authority like your city council, head teacher, CEO or even the government, once we've earned enough recognition & political legitimacy) Bang. Direct Democracy - the way it was meant to be; utilising the internet to help catpure and organise all the information in a really effective and hopefully fun way.

We're a democratic collective, currently all volunteering, and we'd love you to be curious about what we're doing, what you could bring to the table and what you could get out of it.

I'm 29, I live in Brighton, UK and I also make promotional films for all kinds of charities & exciting projects : ) www.PassionworksProductions.com

When ChangeTheFuture (or something equivalent) is fully released to the public, you'll see me getting most involved in democratic education and self-led learning, as well as many other issues & proposals (these are the things I know about and care about most, after creating better opportunities for people in communities to shape their communities, just like Wikipedia)
