Toronto Film School
Toronto Film School (TFS) is a private college in Toronto, Ontario, Canada offering online and on-campus diploma programs for film and television production, acting and writing, graphic design and interactive media, fashion design, and video game design.
In May 2021, Andrew Barnsley, an executive producer for the acclaimed television series[1][2] Schitt’s Creek, and CEO of Toronto-based Project 10 Productions[3], was named school president[4] having previously served as the school’s executive producer in residence for four years.

Toronto Film School is recognized as a leading school in Canada and North America[5][6][7] for training in creative fields [8]. Its programs are regulated under Ontario’s Private Career Colleges Act (2005) and offer online and in-campus, accelerated diploma, and associate diploma programs in:

- 460 Yonge St. - a 17,000 square-foot production facility equipped with five state-of-the-art production studios, four classrooms, and a sound studio.

Notable Alumni
- Ho Che Anderson, cartoonist and comics artist whose works as an artist, writer and penciller have appeared in Marvel Comics[8], Dark Horse[9] and Fantagraphics[10]. In 2021, he was inducted into the Canadian Comic Book Hall of Fame[11].
- Robyn Alomar, Lead Actress in the science fiction, hip hop series Utopia Falls on Hulu. She has been cast in the 2022 Disney+ film Sneakerella[12]
- Gabriel Darku, plays the recurring character Geoff Allen in the Netflix sci-fi series October Faction[13]. He was also cast as a young Shadow Moon in Season Two of American Gods.
- Ali Kazmi, Pakistani-Canadian Film and Television Actor[14].
Notable Faculty
- Michelle Daly, Director of Writing for Film & TV, former CBC senior director of Comedy[15] [16] producing programs such as Schitt’s Creek, the Baroness Von Sketch Show, and Kim’s Convenience. Michelle is a former Director of Content at The Comedy Network[17].
- Adam Till, a former lawyer, and creator of the television show Billable Hours[18].
- John Tench, Professor of Film and Acting, - a veteran stage and screen actor has appeared in numerous stage and screen productions[19][20], including Brokeback Mountain, Shooter, Watchmen, and televised appearances in American Gods, Murdoch Mysteries, and The X-Files.
- Susan Keiko Langdon, Fashion Design Instructor - awarded the Order of Canada[21] for innovation in the Canadian fashion industry for more than 25 years [27].
