Bioenergetics Evaluation

The overview has extremely limited citations and needs more for almost every sentence. However, what is cited has active links to reputable, non-biased sources.

Types of reactions has no citations, but needs them.

The cotransport section seems to have bias claiming a discovery was "the most important." Perhaps this is not appropriate. This section does not explain its relevance to the page as a whole nor what cotransport is. The citations are from peer-reviewed journals, however.

Chemiosmotic theory begins with "one of the major triumphs of bioenergetics," but would be more clear if it first described what it was. It has only one citation- if its for the whole paragraphs, perhaps it should be at the end. The citation is from Nature.

Energy balance is un-biased and has good citations.

Pentose Phosphate Pathway Evaluation

Outcome section is helpful but needs citations and includes some non-essential, distracting information.

Phases is organized nicely with good diagrams, but in need of citations.

The citations are from reputable, un-biased sources (peer reviewed journals). The links seems to be working.

This is article is fairly short. Perhaps an additional section could be added about differences/similarities of PPP in various organisms.

Contributions to article: locus of enterocyte effacement-encoded regulator

I plan to create a wikipedia article for ler (locus of enterocyte effacement-encoded regulator) describing what it does and how it does it (to the best of current understanding), as well as the which organisms it functions in. I will highlight the research of someone underrepresented in the field of microbiology in association with Ler. I will also describe what is known of the protein structure.
