Brian Olsen is an American speed painter. He began his performance art career in 1998 as the assistant to artist Denny Dent. Brian studied under Denny as his tour and studio manager and art representative for more six years. Olsen became Dent’s sole protégé when Dent inadvertently witnessed Brian’s talents and decided to share his philosophies and talents. [1]
After Dent passed away on March 29, 2004, Olsen began Art in Action. Olsen continues to honor Dent’s memory while bringing his own unique approach to the performance painting experience. He has worked with Greg Norman,[2] Sophia Loren[3] and Sharon Stone.[4]
Olsen lives and works in a historic section of Denver, Colorado.
