I've been involved with computers since 1975, when I first saw some students at my high school huddling around an open closet door after hours. It turned out that there was a teletype connected to a college mainframe in the closet, and they were playing Star Trek on it. I still have that original printout.

I sent my first email from Carnegie-Mellon University in 1979, and have been involved with networked computers ever since, even owning my own successful ISP until 2000.
