DMCA takedown notices

Image:Crosstar.png: The subject of at least two DMCA takedown notices (one to the Foundation, one to Wikipedia's hosting provider), despite being a fairly clear case of fair use.

Was this taken down for being a copyright violation? I'm unfamiliar with the image.
