James Thomas, M,A. Applied Linguistics, worked at Masaryk University in the Brno, Czech Republic for 20 years. As of 2016, he is a freelance teacher trainer mainly with the British Council in China. He now runs and writes for the English language teaching publisher, Versatile publishing.
