My name is Hopkins Stanley, and my handle is Heideana, short for Heidegger's Analytics.

I'm learning to do minor edits to the Wiki, like adding URL links I see missing on various critical thinkers I'm aware of. Natürlich, I hope to continue learning and developing my editing skills to enrich and update the Wikipedia Environment. My primary areas of updating are Phenomenology, Cultural Theory, and the Philosophy/Psychology of the Machine.

As for my background, I am a retired AIDS/HIV Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) primarily interested in what Ethics look like in our post-atheistic world, consequently, I'm currently learning with a student of Dr. Martin Burckhardt who's been teaching me how to translate his works and thinking into Englisch for which, in terms of Wiki's COI policies, I receive no money or other compensation. More to the point, since it seems Dr. Burckhardt has no other American students, I find myself in the position of feeling responsible for his Englisch Wiki page – especially since there isn't much known about him outside of the German-speaking world.

I also need to say upfront that I'm learning to navigate Wikipedia's rather arcane editing/writing system, and both will apologize in advance and ask for forgiveness for any transgressions I may unknowingly commit. It's most curious to me, as a student and translator, how much of a Psychotope the Wikipedia schematic has become – which is beautiful, frightening, and dangerous – and, as a writer, how infinitely complex to navigate it is. The most curious thing is to me that, as a digital system designed for use by the res publica, it should be easy to use – however, using the software maxim that states a good piece of software should never require a user manual to use, it's not very good and needs a lot of work. That's not meant as a derogatory statement, rather it reflects my background in Quality Management and Improvement. Hopefully, there are folks – with much better coding skills than mine – working on simplifying the system's Visual Editor in a way that doesn't stifle or hinder the Kraftwerk of Human imagination to creatively edit and write such a wonderous reflection of Human ingenuity. It's truly astonishing to see the Psychotope relieved-out in such a beautiful way.
