Greetz! and welcome! My name is not really important but I prefer to go by HMS or DigDug, and I was born in the wonderful city of Sydney, Australia. I founded the wikis 'Encyclopedia Deceptica' and 'Political Promise' in 2010. Since 2006, I have been pursued by a one-eyed, one-horned, flying purple thing that may or may not eat people. I'm not about to find out which. This has left little time to engage in my much-loved hobbies. Being a producer rather than a consumer of information is not, in fact, one of them, or indeed an all-consuming interest, meaning Wikipedia comes late in a laundry list of 'must-do' activities. However, I feel I can also randomly inject some reason here when lucidity strikes. Therefore, I hereby solemnly promise to uphold Jimbo's Principles on Wikipedia wherever possible within my near-human powers and so warmly encourage anyone and everyone to make positive contributions on this page and elsewhere in WP. Like the founder says: "Feel free to edit this page". Just follow the policies. A final note: If you see a 'TBC' link here, it is my way of showing it isn't broken; you just need to create the page yourself (and preferably also remove the TBC from the link).
