Crompton is an electoral ward in the Metropolitan Borough of Bolton in Greater Manchester, England. It elects three Councillors to Bolton Metropolitan Borough Council using the first past the post electoral method, electing one Councillor every year without election on the fourth.

Crompton Ward takes its name after the inventor Samuel Crompton. The ward was created from parts of the Tonge, Bradshaw, Bromley Cross, Astley Bridge, Halliwell and Central wards. It covers the Back o' th' Bank, Hall i' th' Wood, Halliwell Road (A6099), Folds Road (A575), and Waterloo Street (B6207) areas. Crompton Ward is one of seven wards which together form the Bolton North East Parliamentary Constituency.
