Request reason:

What's going on? I come online to find myself blocked, apparently for being a sockpuppet of a user I have never heard of. Can I request to be unblocked? Or at least for someone to use the checkuser again to show that I'm innocent? Thanks

Decline reason:

A checkuser has reviewed your account, and found sufficient evidence that you and Macromonkey are one and the same. \ Backslash Forwardslash / {talk} 11:44, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

On a related note, I notice your main account has three unblock requests on it. If you wish to be unbanned, you should direct your efforts there. \ Backslash Forwardslash / {talk} 11:45, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I see no reason in directing my requests to someone else's account, and I must maintain that there has been an error of judgement or some other mistake. I will accept the decision if another checkuser turns up the same results (which it won't, in which case you will see that I am not involved with Macromonkey's actions). I look forward to the situation being rectified

Decline reason:

Thatcher is one of our most experienced checkusers, and there is no chance of him making this gross an error. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 12:43, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

No offence to Thatcher, but there is always a chance of a mistake, and such a mistake has been made here. I am simply requesting for you to be sure before you place an indefinite block on a user. I feel that a gross injustice has been committed, and another checkuser will prove this. Everyone deserves a chance to put their side across before being banned permanently.

Decline reason:

No mistake was made. The checkuser data is as unambiguous as I've ever seen. --jpgordon::==( o ) 14:20, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

This is ridiculous, this is my first account and I have no connection to macromonkey. Do the test again and see if the results are still the same, this is all I ask

Decline reason:

Checkuser is the way, the truth and the light. DO NOT SLANDER CHECKUSER. DO NOT SLANDER THATCHER. That you have settles the debate over whether you are a sock or not. You have used up your three unblock requests, and this page will now be protected. — Daniel Case (talk) 14:44, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • If you were going to waste our time, you could have at least bowed to the obvious and tried one of the "It was my computer but it wasn't me" excuses. In this case the checkuser results were unambiguous in every respect. Not even to mention the sockpuppet you created to harass another user with whom Macromonkey had an argument.
