Emperor Tetricus of the Gallic Empire defeated the Franks and Alamanni. Afterwards he reconquered southern Gallia Aquitania and western Gallia Narbonensis.

Emperor Aurelian of the Roman Empire invaded the Gallic Empire in 274 or 273.
