Batman Impersonators

The Dark knight inspired people around the world such as the American superhero, Lenord B. Robinson also known as "the Baltimore Batman". Robinson used the Batman image to bring joy and happiness to children in hospitals and schools in the Baltimore area.[1] A video of Robinson being stopped by the police due to him having a Bat symbol for a license plate propelled his crusade to comfort sick children and attribute solidarity among the parents of those same children. As of August 16, 2015, Robinson died when a motor vehicle struck him at a stop which caused many people in the Baltimore area such as Baltimore Raven's Ray Lewis to express their grief and loss over Robinson's death.[2]

During October of 2003, Robinson's initial attempts of impacting the community came from a Supreme court case. Robinson advocated that dry cleaning businesses were being unfairly taxed while other services were not, thus violating the equal protection clause of the United States and The Constitution. The Court ruling voted against Robinson and ultimately deemed the appeal void due to a lack of compelling evidence to support Robinson's claim and the Case ended with no change occurring.[3]
