Hi, I'm Ben.
About me
I'm a college student, and I read and edit Wikipedia when I'm bored. Also, my notices are blowing up right now.
Aren't you the guy who made the article on the Trump assassination attempt?
Yep, that's me. I happened to get a news notification, came across a video of it, and hastily threw together a pretty bad article (which you can read here), linking to only one source of debatable reliability (though in fairness, it had literally just happened, so there wasn't any reliable coverage on it). Within minutes, dozens of fellow Wikipedians had poured in to add more information. I think the page title got changed about 10 times within half an hour.
Most of the credit goes to all of the editors who poured in to add more information on it. You guys work fast! I didn't build the house, I just laid the foundation.
