Dark Rush
Dark Rush was an arcade video game made in the mid 1980s. It has since attracted a cult following of self-proclaimed "Dark Rush agents."
Plot
The plot of Dark Rush involves two opposing factions: the agents of Dark Rush and the forces of an unnamed sinister organization which is often called "System Pretzel" by fans. Players take the role of a Dark Rush agent trying to escape into higher planes with more sophisticated Dark Rush agencies which can more effectively counter the evil efforts of the opposing forces.
Gameplay
Dark Rush is a platform game. The core gameplay is based on avoiding sinister agents, who are often difficult to see. To complete levels, the player must find portals to a higher world, which have the appearance of a household appliance such as a microwave or a refrigerator.

Many Dark Rush fans believe that the game is a powerful statement about the nature of reality.
