 | This user account is a bot operated by Mikaey (talk). It is used to make repetitive automated or semi-automated edits that would be extremely tedious to do manually, in accordance with the bot policy. This bot does not yet have the approval of the community, or approval has been withdrawn or expired, and therefore shouldn't be making edits that appear to be unassisted except in the operator's or its own user and user talk space. Administrators: if this bot is making edits that appear to be unassisted to pages not in the operator's or its own userspace, please block it. |
At this time, the bot is running without approval, because it is not making any changes to the wiki. The bot's current functions are:
- Compile a list of instances where the talk page is a redirect, but the article is not (current version is at User:Mikaey/Broken talk pages)
- Compile a list of possible cut-and-paste moves (current version is at WP:New histmerge list)
The functions which will be submitted for approval in a bot request for approval are:
- Remove all pages from Category:Possible cut-and-paste moves (one-time run)
- Compile a list of instances where the talk page is a redirect, but the article is not, and upload the report to User:AarghBot/Broken talk pages
- Compile a list of possible cut-and-paste moves
- Tag hits with Category:Possible cut-and-paste moves
- Upload reports to WP:New histmerge list and appropriate subpages
