Tiraspolul Nou (Moldovan Cyrillic: Тирасполул Ноу; Russian: Новотираспольский, romanized: Novotiraspolskiy; Ukrainian: Новотираспольський, romanized: Novotyraspolskyi; lit. 'New Tiraspol'), according to the administrative division of Moldova, is a town in the autonomous territory Stinga Nistrului (de jure), actually is a southwestern district of city of Tiraspol in Pridnestrovie (de facto). Historically, it developed as a settlement between Tiraspol and the village of Ternovka, but in December 2008 it was included in the Pridnestrovian capital.
Notes
- ^ Transnistria's political status is disputed. It considers itself to be an independent state, but this is not recognised by any UN member state. The Moldovan government and the international community consider Transnistria a part of Moldova's territory.
