Thomas Lee Neff[1] (September 25, 1943 – July 11, 2024) was an American physicist.

Life and career

Neff was born in Lake Oswego, Oregon.[2][3] He attended Stanford University. He was a fellow of the American Physical Society.[4]

Neff was a physicist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology[5][6][7] during the 1990s.

Neff died on July 11, 2024, at the age of 80.[3]
