By the way, I personally think the template looks better without the logo on it. The logo leaves too much empty space above and below and causes more text wrapping. Looks like you can use it now though if you want to add it back. Klubbit (talk) 19:53, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I looked into it and I think whoever the mystery editor that took it off was correct. See WP:NFCC#9. A similar discussion was had about Template:Brown University. I just wish they would have posted on the talk page and explained why and what they did. UteFan16 (talk)

Actually, someone marked the logo as public domain since it only consists of "typefaces, individual words, slogans, or simple geometric shapes." Which means that restriction no longer applies to it, and you don't need a fair use rationale. P.S.
