Simple DYK check -- age ok, length ok, hook length ok. hook is interesting (to me at least) with inline citation for its assertion to an online source. I added a wikilink to "recitative".

Trying the new checklist :

  1. adequate sourcing, including verifiability, reliability of sources and BLP policy; * No BLPs have been harmed here. The sources are respectable books plus some websites devoted to serious explication of classical music.
  2. neutral point of view; * Yes.
  3. plagiarism and close paraphrasing; * Checked with copyvio detector, it is fine.
  4. other copyright violations, in files and text; * Bach is out of copyright, sources cited are credited appropriately, length of material quoted from any one source not infringing.
  5. obvious faults in prose, structure, and formatting." * None. I made a few small tweaks to the wikilinking. The prose is fine.
