Since 2014, Chip Ganassi Racing has dropped all references to "Earnhardt" or "DEI" from the team. It was revealed that Teresa Earnhardt left the operation before the ink was even dry on the "merger," which looks ever more like a buyout.
The DEI info should be removed from the template and into a new template that acknowledges DEI's 3 Daytona 500 wins.GhostOfDanGurney (talk) 17:57, 4 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
