This template uses the Community ID number or SFOS number to return a municipality name that matches the form used in the Media related to Maps of municipalities of Switzerland at Wikimedia Commons. This template is intended to be used in the Template:Infobox Swiss town.

These can be used in to bring up the maps with only a SFOS number. Here are 3 municipalities with the same name, but in different cantons.
