The Southern Africa Association for the Advancement of Science (s2a3) has a biographical database of southern African scientists on its website. This template generates an external link to a specific scientist on that database.

Usage

No parameters (uses Wikidata):

One parameter:

{{S2a3 name|ID}}

{{S2a3 name|id=ID}}

Two parameters:

{{S2a3 name|ID|NAME}}

{{S2a3 name|id=ID|name=NAME}}

Instructions

Go to www.s2a3.org.za/bio/List_names.php and search for the person you want
Copy the number (Serial) to the left of the person's name
Add to the external links section the text:
{{S2a3 name|id=#####|name=Name}}

where ##### is the number you've copied, and Name is the person's name

One parameter

If only the id parameter is used the name parameter defaults to the name of the page on which the template is placed. Usage:

{{S2a3 name|id=2497}}

Usage:
