Parameters

• country

The country represented by the national team. Should correspond to the template "Template:Country data country".

• clubname

The name of the team, if other than "country".

• type

Set to Women for Women's national teams, Men for Men's national teams, Women's Youth for Women's youth national teams, Men's Youth for Men's youth national teams, Women's Wheelchair for Women's national wheelchair teams, or Men's Wheelchair for Men's national wheelchair teams. The default is Men.

• national_fed

National basketball federation that administers the team

• fiba_ranking

Current FIBA ranking for the team (links to Wikipedia's page of FIBA rankings)

• fiba_zone

Plain text name of FIBA Zone in which the team plays (e.g., "FIBA Americas")

• iwbf_ranking

Current IWBF ranking for the wheelchair basketball team

• iwbf_zone

Plain text name of IWBF Zone in which the wheelchair basketball team plays (e.g., "IWBF Americas")

• coach

Current coach

Competitions

• zone_championship

The championship tournament of the fiba_zone above (e.g., "FIBA Americas Championship")

• zone_appearances

Appearances in the zone tournament

• zone_medals

A listing of the medals won in that tournament.

• zone2_championship

The championship tournament of a FIBA zone other than the one of which the country is a member. Most notably used for FIBA Oceania teams, which since 2017 have played in FIBA Asia championships.

• zone2_appearances

Appearances in the zone2_championship tournament.

• zone2_medals

A listing of the medals won in the zone2_championship.

• wc_appearances

Appearances at the FIBA Basketball World Cup (known as the FIBA World Championship through the 2010 edition), FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup (known as the FIBA World Championship for Women through the 2014 edition), or Wheelchair Basketball World Championship. For youth competitions, use |wc_championship= to specify the particular world championship/cup competition.

Uniform parameters

These parameters build the stylized uniform in the infobox. See also {{Basketball kit}}.

• Home (primary) uniform: h_body, h_pattern_b, h_shorts, h_pattern_s
• Away (secondary) uniform: a_body, a_pattern_b, a_shorts, a_pattern_s

Optional parameters

• current

Optional: Name of dedicated article for a current team. Do not wikilink. e.g. 2012 United States men's Olympic basketball team for 2012 United States men's Olympic basketball team

• logo

Optional: An image for the team or the national federation (optional; default is country flag)

• logo_width

Optional: Width of logo defaults to 120 pixels. This parameter allows smaller logos to be shown without unsightly stretch marks

• color1

Optional: Hex code for the background color used in the infobox header

• color2

Optional Hex code for the foreground (text) color used in the infobox header
