Voltage controller

Article date and length are verified. However, it is lacking in proper sourcing (we require at least one citation for every paragraph at DYK). Sections without any sources: "On & off control", "Types of voltage controllers", almost all of the "Restrictions on use" section (although the source used at the beginning may imply that it can be used with the rest of this section). Also, there are some MoS issues (bolded text in the article body) and overall readability (the "Restrictions on use" could be tweaked to be more readable). The article is interesting nonetheless, and we don't have many electronics hooks here, so I'd be happy to pass this article once these issues have been addressed. - Added more interwiki links so a novice in electronics can pick up what the electrical unit is about. also added reference details to each para (although it is is mostly similar to the references i has added for the first para's of the sub headings) . and have reworked the "Restrictions on use" adding more interwiki links and qouting more real world examples. do let me know if anything more needs to be done Shrikanthv (talk) 07:33, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

- That's good. There are a few problems still though:
- Ref #1 is a bare URL, you should use a proper
{{cite xxx}}template for it. You also should check whether it's a WP:reliable source, the link seems to be hosted on a blog, and it doesn't state any authors or source; it could be a highschool paper for all you know. If you can find a better source for the information it would be preferable. - Ref #3 seems to be a power point presentation; which is fine if you're citing trivial details, but you still need to make sure that it's not a random presentation (i.e. a power point presentation made by a professor for a class) and state the author, etc.

- Dear Mr. Yazan, Ref #1 as i found out was a rework from the book which i have mentioned as reference now and i have also removed ref #3 with correct reference to the source (and not on rework) including the correct page number, thanks for copy editing. please have a look now Shrikanthv (talk) 08:58, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

After reviewing the article I have slightly expanded it with some details and cites. The sourcing is fine now; looks like someone took care of the bare URL. The length of the article is good, the date is appropriate, the text appears to be free of copyright problems. The hook I like is ALT1 which is going to be easier to understand for the layman. There was a bit about saving energy which does not apply, so I excised it. Binksternet (talk) 22:49, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
