Parent management training

The hook is sourced to the reference with doi 10.1007/s10802-008-9285-x, among others. It is interesting and the right length. The prose size before was 481 words and now it is 2295 words, so that is a 4.7x expansion which seems close enough to 5 times expansion to me. The article was expanded the day of the nomination so the content is fresh. I spot checked for close paraphrasing and did not find any, and think that this content was originally written for Wikipedia as it should be.
- The person who wrote this is a new Wikipedian in a class project and I am happy enough with their expansion of an interesting topic in an underserved Wikipedia area, parenting, to overlook small things. A lot of the references are well formatted and some could use copyediting by a Wikipedian especially to convert bare URLs to proper citations, but what is here works. Most of the sources cited are academic and I find no obvious bias in their selection, except that they are from a Western perspective which is understandable. The biggest problem that I see is the "resources for parents" section which should actually be converted into a Wikipedia:Further reading section. Kguan10, I would like for you to get this DYK but I understand that many students have time restraints. Do you think that you could reformat that section to be a list instead of advice on what to read? It is the style of this encyclopedia not to give advice, but you can certainly list all of these references as you like in a "further reading" section that you put below the references.
- If this student fails to change the further reading section I still support this passing DYK because this is good content and because the problems I find are related to Wikipedia's manual of style and not serious content issues. Blue Rasberry (talk) 03:17, 13 November 2014 (UTC)

I am really happy with this. I hardly ever see new users who so thoughtfully comply with Wikipedia's odd manual of style. The section has been reformatted and the URLs are now expanded. Blue Rasberry (talk) 19:07, 13 November 2014 (UTC)
