  • Long enough, new enough, interesting hook supported by a reference (Der Speigel is apparently having technical issues right now and I couldn't see the other reference.) However, there are only two sources; I suspect more can be found. More seriously, there are several unreferenced paragraphs. I was able to add a ref to one using the source I can see; possibly the rest can be referenced as easily from the temporarily offline source, but this needs to be addressed. Also one point is non-neutral and therefore particularly needs attribution: the erosion of morals by reality shows as prefigured in the film. Other than that, the article is neutrally and clearly written; I tweaked wording (and punctuation: books, films, tv series go in italics; short stories, episodes, songs, etc. go in quote marks) there and in the hook. One thing I am not sure I understand: "quota hunt". Does this refer to the pursuit of ratings or to the format of the fictional reality show? Yngvadottir (talk) 20:03, 9 May 2012 (UTC)
  • Finally I get back to this. Thank you both for improving. "quota hunt" (Quotenjagd) refers to the pursuit of "hits", counting the people watching, is there a term? The plot is a translation from de, it appears also in some of the external links, I can't tell if one or the other of those might be a ref. The film is kind of "classic", how would that be expressed best? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:28, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
  • I finally got the Der Spiegel article to load from Google and was able to check it. The Gartlage Hall paragraph and the Prix Italia are not supported there and still need references. I also could not find an explicit statement about undermining of morality, so I removed that and put in instead from Der Spiegel that the ads are oversexualized - and the poor woman nominating her husband to be hunted. Rather than the somewhat empty term "a classic" I would add specific data about its still being discussed. I will do some hunting for additional sources myself, particularly for those unreferenced paragraphs/points. Yngvadottir (talk) 04:46, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
  • Great improvement and offer! (especially as my time is limited) It didn't mean to mention "classic", just express that it is well known and still shown and discussed. The de version of Prix Italia mentions the fact - without a ref, sigh. I looked for a list of recipients on the official website, so far no success. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 05:51, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
  • OK, I found and added 2 refs for the Prix Italia and a contemporary Der Spiegel article that references the Gartlage and adds support to the audience reaction points. I also added the stated intent, referenced to both Der Spiegel articles. I think that may have fixed the referencing problems; and there is more there in Google, so you should be able to substantiate that it is still being discussed, if you want to. I did not find any plagiarism, and I put my own translation of the quotation in quote marks with syntactic changes indicated. So it's ready for someone else to review; sadly I can't sign off on it now. --Yngvadottir (talk) 12:48, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
