Caha Mountains
- ... that the Caha Mountains in southwestern Ireland are notable for the presence of Minuartia recurva,
an Alpinea montane sandwort otherwise not found in the British Isles? Source: "This tufted, calcifugous perennial herb grows in thin humus in dry narrow cracks in slabs of siliceous rocks of Old Red Sandstone age. 510-610 m in the Caha Mountains." and "M. recurva was discovered in 1964 in the Caha Mountains, where two populations are found straddling the Cork-Kerry border."

- Long enough (6x expansion), well cited and within policy. QPQ done. Hook is long'ish but interesting, clear, and flows well. I hesitated a bit with the citation of the hook because while the source confirms it grows in the Caha Mountains, having been found there in 1964, it doesn't explicitly say that it can't be found elsewhere in Ireland or GB. But the "information" button does say that the section "is the habitat of the species", so I believe it is safe to say that is the entire habitat in Britain/Ireland. One point I do still have is that while "alpine sandwort" is in the hook and article, I can't find that name used as a synonym for either in the source for the hook or in the article Minuartia recurva. Where did "Alpine" come from; should it be changed to "recurved".

- @MB: Thanks for the review. I have changed "Alpine" to "montane", it was meant to be descriptive of its habitat rather than an actual name, and montane is better. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:11, 5 April 2020 (UTC)
- OK, Alpine generally relates to the Alps or "the elevated slopes above timberline"; these mountains just aren't that high. Good to go with "montane".
