  • I think people will at least vaguely (ahem) recall who Groucho etc. were (and if they don't they can click):
ALT2 ...that the song Black Strap Molasses – sung by Groucho Marx, Jimmy Durante, Jane Wyman, and Danny Kaye – was banned by CBS Radio on the grounds that it contained medical advice?

  • New enough (article moved from User:FourViolas/Black Strap Molasses (song) on July 5, 2016), long enough (3,089 characters "readable prose size"), fully referenced. Hook fine, supported by online reference. ALT1 and ALT2 verified by online reference. QPQ done. Good to go. While it was all decades before I was born, thanks to the magic of Turner Classic Movies, the actors are still familiar. Hawkeye7 (talk) 07:24, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
Thanks! I like the full ALT2, striking other hooks. FourViolas (talk) 13:32, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
You know, in my youth I was considered one of DYK's most talented and provocative hookers. EEng 16:49, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
