Usage

This is the TemplateData for this template used by TemplateWizard, VisualEditor and other tools. See a monthly parameter usage report for Template:Copyvios in articles based on its TemplateData.

TemplateData for Copyvios

Creates a link to Earwig's Copyvio Detector

Template parameters[Edit template data]
Parameter		Description	Type	Status
URL	`1` `url`	URL to check page against. Leave blank to do a copyvio search using a search engine and links in the page.	String	optional
Article Page Name	`2` `page` `title`	The name of the article you want to check. Default {{ARTICLEPAGENAME}} Auto value `{{ARTICLEPAGENAME}}`	Page name	suggested
Skip to content	`content`	Set to 'yes' to skip directly to the content comparison. Default no	Line	optional
Link text	`label` `name`	The text that should appear as the link to the copyvios report. Default Copyvios report	String	optional
Project Language Code	`lang`	Which language (en, de, etc.) or sub-project (commons, meta, etc.) the article to check is from. Defaults to 'en'. Default en	Line	optional
Project	`project`	Which project (Wikipedia, Wikimedia, Wiktionary, etc.) the article is from. Defaults to 'wikipedia'. Default wikipedia	Line	optional
Revision ID	`oldid`	The revision ID of an old revision of a page to check (useful when used in conjunction with {{afc cleared}}). Leave blank for the current revision.	Number	optional

Note: if the URL includes an =, you must prefix it with 1= or url= for the template to function.
