| year =	the starting year of the season for this template; the ending year will be calculated.
| team =	name of team.
| sex =	sex of the team; default to men's. use w for women's, which changes the title and suppresses the weight column
| hdr_bgcolor=	background color of the main template header.
| subhdr_bgcolor=	background color of the sub headers.
| hdr_txtcolor=	text color of the main template header.
| subhdr_txtcolor=	text color of the sub headers.
| teamcolors=	if teamcolors=y, then the colors from Template:CollegePrimaryStyle and Template:CollegeSecondaryStyle will be used and all color fields mentioned above will be ignored.
| high_school=	inputting anything in the field will activate the high school column; must then use the high_school parameter in every entry of the player template

| first = | last =	player's first and last name are all you'd need to enter in most cases
| dab =	e.g. "basketball" if the title of the player's bio ends with "...(basketball)".
| alt=	use in complex cases instead of the above, e.g. "alt = John T. Smith (basketball born 1980)"
| link =	set link=y if the name should be wikilinked
| num =	number on player's uniform, e.g. "23"
| pos =	See basketball positions. Acceptable values are (PG|G|SG|GF|SF|F|PF|FC|C). Column will sort in this order.
| ft = | in = | lbs =	height and weight. feet and inches are separated so that 6'10-11" players will sort properly in relation to 6'2" players.
| sex =	sex of the team; default to men's. use w for women's, which suppresses the weight column
| class =	FR|FRESH|FRESHMAN|SO|SOPH|SOPHOMORE|J|JR|JNR|JUNIOR|S|SR|SNR|SENIOR|G|GS|GRAD|GRADUATE
| rs =	whether the player has had redshirt year; any character will activate this field.
| cur_rs =	whether the player is in a redshirt year; acceptable value is "yes"
| home =	hometown of the player. Wikilinks are accepted in this field
| high_school=	high school or junior college of the player; must have used the high_school parameter in the header template.
| note =	FA, DP, etc. appears in parentheses after player's name
| inj =	If inj=y, injury symbol appears by player's name.
