Contacting Zoie Palmer’s Agent for clarification

I've been reading the follow-up comments at Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons/Noticeboard#Zoie_Palmer.

Why doesn't someone just contact her agent? This is the most recent reference I could find for it (There may be more up to date information at IMDb Pro, which requires a membership):

Quoted from article:

"After 46 years with The Characters Talent Agency, the head of the reps for Jason Priestley and Tatiana Maslany is to step down.

Longtime agent Larry Goldhar is leaving The Characters Talent Agency after almost 50 years in the Canadian entertainment business.

Goldhar, who co-founded Characters in Toronto 46 years ago, is retiring as an agent, and will be replaced by Jennifer Goldhar as president as he takes a background role at the agency. Jennifer Goldhar's Characters' talent roster includes Donald Sutherland, Jason Priestley and Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany.

Ryan Goldhar, who joined Characters in 2011 and already represents Kate Vernon, Tara Spencer-Nairn and Torri Higginson, will take over Larry Goldhar's client list. Additionally, Tyman Stewart has been named as president of Characters' Vancouver office, replacing Leonard Bonnell.

Jennifer Goldhar joined Characters 20 years, and in her new role will oversee the day-to-day running of the agency, which also has Zoie Palmer and Anthony Lemke on its talent roster. "Larry built this company with integrity, respect for others and an unparalleled passion for his clients,” said Jennifer Goldhar in a statement on Tuesday.

"I plan to continue this longstanding tradition and ensure The Characters remains a leader in the industry and an agency actors strive to be a part of," she added."

Because Wikipedia doesn't do original research. We're not a newspaper. We just follow what reliable sources say. If a reliable source contacts her agent, and reports on what they were told, then we could cover that. --Rob (talk) 15:46, 8 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the clarification Rob.

Clarification: Alexandra LaLonde (actor) is a different person than Alex LaLonde (producer)

I can’t comment on the BLP /Noticeboard entry for Zoie Palmer so I will address the recent comments from there as quoted below:

Commons has Media related to Alexandra Lalonde at Wikimedia Commons. FWIW, I looked into her, a few years ago, to determine whether she merited a standalone article... (I decided she did not...) I found Alexandra Lalonde, the actor, and Ms Palmer's partner, were merely namesakes. Geo Swan (talk) 17:32, 13 November 2020 (UTC) @Geo Swan: Why did you create a collection of pictures of someone who isn't notable enough for a Wikipedia article? One or two i could understand, but there's twelve. Mo Billings (talk) 19:06, 13 November 2020 (UTC)

You are confusing Alexandra Lalonde (actress) with Alex Lalonde (film producer). Although the latter person’s full name is Alexandra she has gone by the name of Alex for her professional career. Here is her IMDb page: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2452288/. Also if you search “Alex Lalonde“ using google.ca you will see the first three or four references are to Alex Lalonde, the producer. It is this woman who was/is Zoie Palmer’s partner.

@SugarScientist: Why can't you comment on the BLP noticeboard thread? Mo Billings (talk) 23:46, 14 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Mo Billings: I just opened this account. I thought I read somewhere that there’s a criteria of something like 10 posts in 4 days before a new account can contribute on the BLP noticeboard thread. Of course now I can’t find it.

I just checked and it appears that I can edit and therefore contribute. I will post in that thread moving forward if required.
