Expanding

Okay, I found a good source on these prints (Hayakawa 2002) which is over thirty pages just on this series and the erotic version of it (which I didn't know existed). It'll take me a while to expand it, and the article will probably look pretty awful until I've finished—I'm planning on doing subsections on each print with images of the print, the erotic version, and a version of the Xiaoxiang painting parodied. I'm having trouble finding images of the prints online, but they're widely reprinted in books as far as I can tell, so as a last resort I may scan them. Any and all help will of course be greatly appreciated.Curly Turkey 🍁 ¡gobble! 07:29, 8 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The "fashionable views" series explains that alternate image of the "geese descending on the koto bridges" which we came across; I'm pleased that we're peeling back the many layers of mystery of this topic. I already noticed that the BM has some of these images online. Please note that I work close to the BM and so can easily go in to chase up particular images if it helps. Andrew D. Torii Kiyonaga?

Did Torii Kiyonaga do his own version of the series? Curly Turkey 🍁 ¡gobble! 05:15, 9 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If anyone happens to be watching this page and can find more or better images, or can crop or manipulate the images to make them look better, please do—this stuff is not my forte. Curly Turkey 🍁 ¡gobble! 07:24, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
