Talk:Yakub (Elijah Muhammad)

From WikiProjectMed
Jump to navigation Jump to search

This article is made solely for the purpose to inform the public about the Nation Of Islam figure "Yakub", as presented by Elijah Muhammad. I acknowledge that there are other (imposter) pages for Yakub, and that these pages were written by users who are against the Nation of Islam and contest the story of Yakub. Their contest can be seen through the display of false information which they provided, as well as in their verbal oppositions in the discussion section(s). Such information includes the claim that the NOI believes the “Black race includes Asians”, “the reasons for Yakub’s actions are unclear”, and aspects that convey an antagonistic nature. Aside from authorial bias, the author of the imposter page for Yakub did not attempt to fully explain the narrative of Yakub, which was taught by Elijah Muhammad (the founder of the topic). How can one fully understand the theology of Yakub if that theology is not fully explained, but presented from a limited viewpoint? For these purposes alone, I have chosen to write the accurate and detailed description for “Yakub.” I am also a member of the NOI, unlike the author of the imposter page. Who is more qualified to write about the tale of “Yakub” other than someone who is subscribed to tale of “Yakub”? The answer is no one. I have reviewed the terms for speedy deletion and in no way does this article match the criteria in any shape or form. All of the information presented is 100% accurate and in accordance to the information of Yakub given by Elijah Muhammad. If, however, you believe the contrary, please notify me of the errors and I will correct them.
