Starting off

Having started an article on the School, I refer OW readers to the discussion on the original Talk page [[1]]--and hope to see this article developed by more contributions. Aeronian 16:05, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How about a link to the Woolverstone Hall Old Boys Association? [2]

I'm prepared to chuck in some links. However, the WHOBA site will need to be flagged as 'members only'. Better for Wikipedia purposes is the photo archive site [3], IMHO. Aeronian 20:30, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Does ex-editor of New Scientist qualify as a "notable old boy"? MK 09:46, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why not bung him in? If at a later date we want to become more discriminating, that's a matter for that time, eh? Aeronian 20:30, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Plugs to that sneaky farter! Aeronian (talk) 13:49, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

First Head Boy

I reverted this IP edit and a following amendment because it seems capable of needed verification, but also because it included one demonstrably wrong statement, viz that Robert Cox was the first Head Boy. That distinction in fact fell to D. R. Brown in January 1952, as documented in Johnston's House report in the inaugural issue of the school magazine Janus. Notability and citations

After well over two years' notice, it is past time to prune "Notable former students" to meet WP standards. That means removing those not notable enough to have inspired a WP article and/or those lacking reliable verification of their status and exploits. They can, of course, be reinstalled if/when the credentials are established. Bjenks (talk) 02:53, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
