Talk:Wole Soyinka Prize for Literature in Africa

Is it dead?

The foundation issuing the prize has just a single webpage on it, referring to 2010 events as future. They haven't bothered to even name the winners for each year, so the only indication that the whole thing is not long forgotten are the fully functional links for dish soap advertising. Then again, it is not very surprising if one considers that the only contact address given on the webpage is postal. So, if even the issuers of the "Africa’s NOBEL prize" do not care about it, how can we improve the coverage on Wikipedia? --62.65.238.5 (talk) 10:43, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Well the article lists a 2014 winner, so they have only missed one award cycle (2016). Sometimes awards go on hiatus for a couple cycles it takes time to before it can be declared abandoned. -- GreenC 21:18, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
