The result of the move request was: no consensus to modify the current primary topic arrangement. (non-admin closure) Colin M (talk) 20:07, 4 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

– No clear primary topic given the other 4 places with this name and the other PTMs[[1]]. Also the others are stand alone settlements while this is a part of a larger one. Crouch, Swale (talk) 18:42, 16 November 2019 (UTC) Relisting. Colin M (talk) 21:26, 25 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. The Manchester suburb looks like a solid primary topic to me, of the other four places in England one is merely a redirect and none are of comparible size or significance. PC78 (talk) 13:59, 17 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose The dab page suggests it's needed. No clear primary topic. It seems that the nominator may be desiring to move "Withington, Manchester" to "Withington" because it's shorter; however, I assume Withington is the equivalent of a village of a regional township, so for non-UK residents like myself, it makes sense to include the larger jurisdiction. And, piped links are cheap.
Enthusiastic Support per nom, and kudos to the nom for proposing this. As noted on my talkpage, I am less of a fan of primary topics and an enthusiastic dab page (without parenthetical qualifiers) supporter. There's no clear primary topic here. Apologies for my confusion—feel free to trout me, if desired. --Doug Mehus T·C 16:22, 17 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
