use of Hundred

Wilmington can't be in the "hundred of Keynsham" as Hundreds no longer exist. I suspect it is in Bath and North East Somerset.— Rod ^talk 19:25, 11 March 2011 (UTC)

Sorry about my reverting edits, I made a mistake! Anyway, I've looked at the Hundred of Keynsham and although they don't longer exist, would it still be notable for mentioning in the article even if it was? Jaguar (talk) 09:18, 9 September 2011 (UTC)

Pembrokeshire Hundreds all have articles (e.g. Dewisland (hundred), might be worth creating articles for some of List of hundreds of England and Wales#Somerset.--Pontificalibus (talk) 09:59, 9 September 2011 (UTC)

Yes, red links. I'll turn them blue in no time. There are examples on how to make Hundreds I have already made, for example see Odiham Hundred. A brief lead should explain the hundred (like what monarch owned the manors) and then a list of villages/towns that were included in the Hundred. Pictures can easily be found on the British History website and since they are well over 70 years old, it won't be that hard using them in the articles. Jaguar (talk) 11:33, 9 September 2011 (UTC)
