Purpose of this page

Welcome to the Wellness Recovery Action Plan talk page. This Peer Education Resource is intended to provide information and knowledge among the community of members engaged in discussing and improving WRAP on Wikipedia. Before making edits to the main article, please use this page to discuss and propose changes you wish to make. - Wikiworld2 (talk) 00:50, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

With respect, Wikiworld2 (!!!!), wikipedia has not chosen to label itself as a Peer Education Resource and I am shocked that you consider it your place to do so! This entry, which I assume you kicked off, is merely one more article to join the 24 million odd here. It is not for the original creator of an article to dictate terms for editing, the use of the Talk page, or anything else here. All these matters, and more, are fully laid out in wikipedia guidelines, manuals etc. Wiki is not a common or garden private enterprise. If you, Wikiworld2 (!!!!) or anyobody else who feels some sort of "ownership" of this article, wish to have your own terms of use then please create your own; with the freely available non-copyrighted software, with commercial wiki software, or with sites set up in this way. Despite your "intro" above, all wiki pages are available for any of the 35 million editors to edit in the normal manner, including this one, NOT in accordance with your wishes but in accordance with the terms of the wiki community! So, while you are correct to ask that editors bring general criticisms, such as that noted in the current tag, to be furthered here (all as set out in the guidelines), editors are NOT obliged to do so FIRST, nor to seek any approval. Wiki is a community asset, community driven, community policed, and driven. It is not a commons that can be carved up by other enterprises. Please show the appropriate respect. @Wikiworld2: It also appears that you may be editing here with a different purpose than Wikipedia's. This talk page should be used to discuss how to improve the WRAP article but not about WRAP itself. Please review WP:TALK. Also, we have had previous conflict of interest and promotional issues with Mary Ellen Copeland and those associated with her and her programs. Please proceed with cognizance of those issues.
