Deleted reference link to "Kids IQ" site, due to the site's commercial interests and its highly unscientific nature. Not a credible source.

Additionally, I think it would be helpful for someone to validate the link to Reference #4. It would be preferable to have a peer-reviewed article talking about the validity of translated versions of the WISC, for example.

The WISC is intended to evaluate only intelligence, and not other aspects of a subject.

I removed that, because it's complete baloney. David Wechsler himself said, "IQ tests are, first and foremost, clinical instruments."

Kaplan and Saccuzzo

Is this citation "Kaplan & Saccuzzo (2005)" the same as this citation:

Kaplan, R.M. & Saccuzzo, D.P. (2005). Psychological Testing: Principles, Applications, and Issues, 6th Edition. Belmont: Thompson Wadsworth. ISBN 0534633064

Can anyone confirm this quote, anyone work at a library, bookstore or have a copy of this text and can confirm the quote?

I can check the Wechsler 1958 source directly. I don't have the same edition of Kaplan and Saccuzzo available in my most convenient libraries, but I probably have adequate secondary sources on hand to check the origin of ipsative scoring. -- WeijiBaikeBianji (talk) 15:29, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Explanation of subtests is wrong. POI should be Perceptual Reasoning instead of organization for WISC IV. object assembly etc need to be changed to reflect 2003 changes. Intelligence Citations Bibliography for Articles Related to IQ Testing

You may find it helpful while reading or editing articles to look at a bibliography of Intelligence Citations, posted for the use of all Wikipedians who have occasion to edit articles on human intelligence and related issues. I happen to have circulating access to a huge academic research library at a university with an active research program in these issues (and to another library that is one of the ten largest public library systems in the United States) and have been researching these issues since 1989. You are welcome to use these citations for your own research. You can help other Wikipedians by suggesting new sources through comments on that page.
