Convict labour
Ashgrove State School website (https://ashgrovess.eq.edu.au/OurSchool/History) states:
“Waterworks Road was built with convict labour.”
Given that it was built from 1864 to 1866, and that the Moreton Bay penal colony closed in 1842, it seems an unlikely claim. Downsize43 (talk) 06:18, 1 January 2020 (UTC)
