Proposed merge with Tegmental wall of tympanic cavity

It is needlessly complex to have these eight different articles on the tympanic cavity when one higher-quality article would suffice. This is needlessly fragmented and a detriment to readers, as well as impacting on the quality of all eight articles, by impacting on their editing and removing contextual information. As for reasons above.

Oppose: I find the current structure easy to navigate and understand. The tympanic cavity articles gives a summary, with the smaller articles (like Promontory of tympanic cavity) giving more detail, a very conventional structure on Wikipedia. Klbrain (talk) 22:05, 3 February 2017 (UTC)
