"Turrican?" "Bren Mcguire?" What the heck is his name?!

"...Turrican's sprite was changed into a marine..." Don't they mean Bren Mcguire's sprite? Of course, the ingame plot and the manual plot seem completely different...They list different names for the player charicters, and i'm not sure which one is the "official" plot.

Perhaps Bren Mcguire aka Turrican? --77.64.134.190 (talk) 10:55, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
It's like Bruce Wayne/Batman. Both names are the same person --Bothary (talk) 12:39, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

Special Music Routines on Amiga version

I know for sure there are at least 6 channels audible in the amiga version, i know a special routine was written alla Octamed (8 channels) to keep the game performance and use the cpu still to produce music instead of dedicated sound hardware.

Cannot find the source anymore, but i know it is true. Officially the amiga is limited to 4 channels of music, 2 for right and 2 for left. With this special music routine and code there where 3 for right and 3 for left. Hence the music sounds much more beautiful than e.g. just a protracker module (4 channels only max.) Octamed was just to slow to use for gaming. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.208.67.111 (talk) 15:48, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

As long as i cannot find sources i cannot add it to the main article since own research or knowing is not according wiki standards. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.208.67.111 (talk) 15:54, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

Revolutions

This article states, with no references, that "The Desert Rocks" borrows from Jarre's "Revolutions" album, but I'm sorry, I just don't hear it. I have both the Jarre album in question and the Turrican soundtrack (both the original TFMX files and the recently produced Soundtrack Anthology) and I just don't hear it.

I wouldn't have thought "This piece of music sounds a bit like this" is useful content for an encyclopaedia...
