- The jumping of the bulls is a traditional ceremonial event involving tribal members. The ceremony initiates with individuals being whipped continuously on the back to the rhythm of horns. Members then have their faces painted with traditional paint. Once painted, the tribal members join in groups and dance and leap around in anticipation of the jumping of the bulls. Once the bulls are gathered, they are rounded up to form a tight circle. One by one, members leap across the backs of the bulls until they reach the other side. Those who succeed are then granted permission to marry.
