"derived condensation of from TMP and the epoxides" doesn't seem right to me. Would "derived from condensation of TMP and the epoxides" make more sense? ϢereSpielChequers 08:58, 23 May 2016 (UTC)

The IUPAC name sould be 2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)butan-1-ol.
