Remains of Timothy Cratchit Actually Found

The article cited claiming that Timothy Cratchit's body was actually found under a church was a joke. It is in a serious journal, but it is not a peer reviewed article. Rather, it is an editorial article. The issue was released around Christmas 1997. Tiny Tim dies because of Polio.

I am editing the wikipedia entry accordingly.

  • I have removed the reference to this in the article. Apart from the fact it was unreferenced, a fictional character cannot have an actual physical grave with a body in it! Jack1956 (talk) 14:18, 21 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

reach-around?

"In the story, Tim is crippled and very ill, from his mom nagging him to near death to take out the garbage, and from being unable to give his brother a reach around due to the constriction of his leg braces."The actor who plays Tiny Tim is Nick Jonas from the Jonas Brothers. REach-around?

I didn't read it or anything, but I doubt that Dickens had that in mind. Or did he? Someone please clarify for me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Seanpatnaude (talkcontribs) 00:04, 30 June 2008 (UTC) Nevermind. I can't see this being anything other than vandalism. I'm deleting it.[reply]

Yes, a lot of vandalism here, I just undid some from June 9. I'm also curious about the age, 7–10 years depending on version, which was added by an anonymous editor on January 6. Yet the A Christmas Carol article does not mention multiple versions of the text, and the text cited here does not seem to mention an age at all. Perhaps the age span is referring to different adaptations of the work? If so, it should really be made clear. -- Jao (talk) 17:22, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
All right, as there has been no explanation, I took out the age. -- Jao (talk) 17:08, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What's the with ukulele stuff? Stupid vandals. I don't have time to fix it right now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.153.112.211 (talk) 14:33, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed it (a simple WP:UNDO). Thanks for finding it. -- Jao (talk) 15:16, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The ukulele stuff must have been a reference to Tiny Tim (musician). Stonemason89 (talk) 16:47, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
