Removal from AAAS?

According to the article, "The American Association for the Advancement of Science removed [Jessell]'s fellowship status because of his actions." But the page it links to says only that the AAAS had a new policy allowing removal for such conduct. It doesn't say Jessell (or anyone else) had already been removed, and it says the policy had taken effect just six days earlier. Perhaps Jessell has been removed since then; if he hasn't, it may be only a matter of time. But as of 4-25-2019, the article cites no sources that say it has happened already. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.4.239.249 (talk) 21:45, 25 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for flagging this up. I checked the source and it mentions Jessell's case, suggesting that the policy would apply to him, but you're correct that it doesn't actually confirm that his fellowship status was removed. I've therefore removed the sentence from the article. Cordless Larry (talk) 07:12, 2 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Due weight

Another editor asked me to look here, and I would suggest that editors evaluate whether the page gets WP:DUE right. It looks to me like there needs to be more about the science, in relation to the scandals. --Tryptofish (talk) 22:37, 1 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
