Choirs
There should be a section on the Thiel College Choir and Alumni Choirs, since both are an integral part of the Lutheran Choral history. The choir has ties with the St. Olaf Lutheran Choir, one of the most important choirs in Lutheran and American Choral tradition. Another important fact about the Thiel Choir is that none of the students in the choir are Music majors, since the college does not have a Music Major program. Thus, the choir is formed by those who love the art of choral singing.

For the record, I can vouch that the name is indeed pronounced "teel" (regardless of whatever official German practice might be)as I grew up within a mile of the campus. Bruce
